The Office of Student Life offers opportunities that aim to inspire and ground students in the possibility that the classroom can be anywhere.

The Office of Student Life views our students as assets to the culture of Rhode Island College, and as such celebrates the collective success and mutual aid that shared wisdom can cultivate.
Our office is positioned to support students as they navigate their educational experience, and provide multiple touch points and space for students to deepen their social interactions.

We work to see out students as their whole selves and challenge the notion that students are passive consumers. Working closely with Student Community Government, our student organizations, and student leaders, we prioritize and value student centered learning, student led initiatives and most importantly, student voice.

The H.O.P.E. line is in addition to the counseling center and has been established to provide continuous support to our campus community. The senior class of 2024 paid homage to Geráld, an affectionate nickname assigned to any turkey who has made his/her home on campus.
